Long time no news... but really that's the truth for me musically. I felt dead for a while so I took a small break from producing. People kept sending me stuff to remix to get my creative juices flowing again which really, really helped!! Thanks so much all of you for doing that~although I haven't really finished any of those remixes it actually helped to get my next productions underway. I do have a new song up on my myspace -- "Baby's Gone" a dancerock remix of Belladonnakillz song called "Kill Bella" ---- "Baby's Gone" is my radio PG version -- -I would like to do another dancefloor version which will include his awesome lyrics like "a trail of pubic hair: and my bitch has gone astray".
Check out my myspace to hear "Baby's Gone"

Summer has come and gone....the fall was beautiful and now it is winter. And an unusually cold and snowy winter in Vancouver. I have a beautiful view of the snowcovered mountains and I am enjoying being inside my warm room staring out the window at them.
I feel very proud lately since Reid Speed and I received some terrific affirmation on our track "Danger" - Aquasky loves it and have already set their stamp on receiving a vinyl copy!! This was terrific news for us. We feel very fortunate and proud that this track is being well received....and it's not even out yet!! Can't wait for the release!
Really not much else to report. Life is moving along faster then I would like. I haven't had much time for my music...although I have quite a few ideas flowing! But I haven't had a chance to get in the studio and lay them down. I am in the middle of mixing Reid Speed's album. It's moving along nicely. Other than that....when I have some new music I'll write more...Oh I'm going to LA in a month I'm really looking forward to it!!......till the next time!

So my last blog post I was bitchen about the shitty weather of my homestead!! Well I spoke too soon or something cause ever since that day it has been totally smoken beautiful here! Hot sweaty and totally awesome. I['m lovin it! -- but not in the mcdonalds kinda way!
I've been awol for a while cause I went back home for some family stuff. Bought a car while I was there and drove it back to vancouver....right accross canada! totally awesome trip. No gear. No gigs. Just me an my honey driving. I haven't done the "accross canada" in a car thing yet so it was really grounding for me and put my country into perspective! So much land I gotta say...so much l!
I've been doing alot of producing in a really unfocused yet focused way. A new technique for me don't know if it's working out cause I have yet to complete anything over the last few months. Well that could be because instead of going to the studio I have opted for driving to some mountain lake and chillen on some beach somewhere. I figure I've spent enough hours in my dark producer room that I really needed some well deserving sunlight and beach breaks!
I have lotsa projects on the go so hopefully I'll get them all wraped up before summer ends~

Vancouver is so weird with the weather. I'm used to summer being nice and HOT like 30 (celcius) and above with hot sticky nights where you tear your sheets off your bed have the aircon running full blast and sleep naked! That's what I call a hot summer. Last year was my first summer in Vancouver and I was really disapointed when it never really got that hot. And I was hoping it was just a "cool" summer but it looks like this summer is doing much of the same thing. And the RAIN.....oh my god does it ever just stay sunny EVER!
Ok so I'm a little bitchy about the weather.....but I just want to feel HEAT! Maybe I need to move again....well I'll be back in Toronto in a few weeks maybe I'll visit my cottage and have some nice summer nights so I won't be missing it so much.
Phew...glad I got that off my chest!
On another note. I did an electrostep remix of a song by Belladonnakillz (a toronto band with a killer vocalist). The song is called "Hell Yeah" the remix turned out awesome. I did a few vocals in there too. You can check it out on my myspace (http://www.myspace.com/queensyze)
John B has already had the sneak peak and he loves it....wanted me to send it and he also wants to remix my remix! Totally rad! He's going to "add" it to the pile he has of mine.....
The track I did with Reid Speed is making some waves in the breaks community. Which is really cool. We're currently working on our second one.....can't wait to see what happens with this one!
I need to go to the bank then do some accounting (ARG) then off to the studio it's already getting so late in the day! I wish I had more hours....days just seem to be flying by!
bye bye for now.

Good I broke the "blogging on the 12th" pattern. Good to know I'm not THAT predictable! IT was a pretty amazing couple weeks I must say. Mucho time in the studio. Doing remixes and getting new ideas and creatives together. I'm working with a guy from Toronto (vocalist/guitarist) who I think is totally rad...I'm really excited about the project with him. Although we probably won't have anything put together for the next little while!
Reid Speed was in town for the last week of may. She was doing a show for The Lotus in Vancouver (Twently Hz crew). And she was also doing a track with them for the Twenty Hz label. (A Canadian Breaks label based out of Vancouver)
It was awesome to have her around she has tooooooonnnnnns of energy and wickedly positive...I totally enjoyed her! We worked on something that I think is pretty special. A breaks tune. It's really hmmm how can I describe it..."happening" for lack of a better word. IT makes me shake my booty from beginnning to end. We definitely work well together like peanut butter on toast....mmmmmmm yummy! Oh and it was my b-day last week not too much craziness but more "chilled" out drunken craziness!
Over the past ten years through DJ'ing and now producing I feel llike I have gone through so much. I have learned so much. Been around so much. I am happy to say that where I am most comfortable is behind the computer making beats. Even though the tune making process is pretty torturous for me. I am never happy with what I make. I am never satisfied with the production. I always want to make things sound better and make my skills better. I wonder if everybody is like this.
Still no word on the John B remixes. Hope to hear them soon.....Oh my AIM is jumping!! Lazer

Ohhh...the last time I updated the blog was exactly ONE MONTH AGO!! Weird...I guess I'm a creature of habit! Well where should I start? The last month has been really crazy! I was in Rochester, NY for a fantastic gig with DYLAN It was totally RAD. Except the fact that I had to take an overnight flight there from Vancouver and I bought some Gravol in the local drugstore to help make me sleep on the plane....and did I ever get fked over! When I was ready to go to sleep on the plane I went into the gravol pack to take one and it was FKN EMPTY!! Next time shake the pack to make sure it's full! Needless to say I didn't sleep the whole flight! I ended up sleeping for a few hours in the hotel before the gig. It was really cool to see Dylan again. He is always a breath of fresh air!
I then went to Toronto for a bit and now I'm back in Vancouver....glad to be home! It's really beautiful here this time of year. All the big flowers are out. The rains have passed. It's so great to breath nice air again! It's sunny outside today but I am totally sick to...what a bummer! Maybe I'll still go for a walk and spread some germs!!
In music news...I am on my way to finishing some electro synth pop remixes of a couple bands that I have been working on. Hopefully I will have something soon.
My two latest dark tunes "Showers of Madness" and "Monster Greed" they are both available in my MP3 store.
I hate being sick.

I have finally put up an mp3 store of all my unreleased tunes. Go to the new store section and click on the image.......browse all the tunes & start dowloading high quality mp3's.
The last few weeks have been crazy busy. Working on a few tunes. Mostly remixes for bands and such...pretty cool electro-synth pop business. also working on a harder dark-type of tune for my gig with Dylan in Rochester next week. I'm really stoked about it. View my myspace for more info on the gig. I had a crazy weekend, I had it off so I went to this ION magazine party which had Michelle from the Primes DJ'ing which was cool. Then the Sarah Harmer tour rolled into town. I know one of the band mates so we all went out for dinner then partied on the tour bus and the show was really rad too. Really bluegrassy with some pop/folk stuff. Not what I am normally into but it was a nice change for sure!
I'm starting to work on a USA tour for early fall. So if anybody is interested in bookings please hit me up! Joanna from the bassline agency is going to help me too so that's terrific news!! Well I should get back to some of these tunes. xoxo
March 24, 2006:
So this is the start of my new web blog. Well let's see....I've had kind of an un-interesting week. Up and down really. Just trying to finish off some dark tunes... since I have been neglecting the evil in me lately only doing Electro tunes over the last little while. The first dark tune Ihave done in a while is "Monster Greed" you can have a sneak peak on my myspace (http://www.myspace.com/queensyze)
Dom & Roland actually asked me to send him this one after hearing it on my page so I guess it's a good one!!
Just getting this webpage up to snuff finally. The photo page will be up soon and hopefully I can figure a way to put more intergrated audio but whatever....this is good for now.
Position Chrome is relaunching Thank GOD!! I love that label. Check it at http://www.positionchrome.com
I remember when I used to go to the shop and ask for the hardest darkest tunes and of course PC was always on the top of the pile!!!
Well....I should get off the computer. Do stuff in real life!
